Second Degree Option Admission Requirements
To be considered for the Accelerated Second Degree Option in nursing, applicants must have:
- a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- a minimum of 3.0 undergraduate GPA
- a minimum of 2.5 GPA in all science courses
- All science prerequisites MUST have been take in the past 7 years
The following prerequisite courses* or competencies are also required:
- English Composition II
- Intermediate Algebra
- Microbiology
- Biochemistry
- Anatomy
- Physiology
- Nutrition
- Introduction to Psychology
- Lifespan Psychology
- Introduction to Sociology
- Ethics
