Covid Vaccine Exemptions for CHP

The College of Health Professions and MSON continue to work with our clinical partners to provide the highest quality learning opportunities available. Detroit Mercy coordinates with many clinical locations that require vaccination against COVID-19 as a preventative measure for protecting the health of others.

The College of Health Professions and MSON will accept submission of exemption requests; however, approval of a University of Detroit Mercy exemption request does not guarantee that a facility will allow for the exemption, nor are students or clinical instructors guaranteed an alternate placement if a facility does not allow for exemption.
