UDM College of Health ProfessionsSecond Degree Option Admission Requirements
To be successful in completing the accelerated second degree option in nursing, applicants must have:
- a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- a minimum of 3.0 undergraduate GPA.
- a minimum of 2.5 GPA in all science courses.
Please Note: Rolling Admissions
The following prerequisite courses* or competencies are also required:
- English Composition
- Intermediate Algebra
- Microbiology
- Chemistry (organic/biochemistry)
- Anatomy
- Physiology
- Nutrition
- Introduction to Psychology
- Lifespan Psychology
- Introduction to Sociology
- Ethics
* All science courses MUST have been taken in the past 7 years.
