Graduation Requirements

The program consists of two major components in addition to the UDM Core Curriculum:

1. The Health Services Administration major 
   
2. A professional area of specialization.
   

A plan of study for the15 credit hour professional area of specialization in a selected area of management of health services will be developed in consultation with the student's academic advisor. Many allied health and nursing professionals can fulfill the professional area of specialization through transfer credits.

Students also complete a seven-credit internship in a health care setting which allows them to apply the theory and skills learned in the program and provides an opportunity to explore potential employment opportunities.
