Graduation Requirements
The Health Services program consists of two major components in addition to the UDM core curriculum:
- the Health Services major- 27 semester hours in required courses and
- electives in an area of specialization (12 semester hours of elective courses with approval).
Many allied health and nursing professionals can fulfill the electives in an area of specialization through transfer credits.
Examples of specializations include Addiction Studies, Business or Social Work. It is possible to earn a Certificate of Business Administration in conjunction with the Health Services degree by completing a 30-semester credit program in the College of Business Administration. Elective courses are chosen in consultation with an advisor.
