Michael P. Dosch CRNA MS
Associate Professor and Chair, Nurse Anesthesia

Mike has directed the program since 1991. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Science from Mercy College of Detroit. His teaching/research interests include: Anesthesia Gas Machine, Applied Physics, Research Methods, Statistics, Attrition, and computer-based testing. He is active in service to his profession including as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the AANA Journal, a member of the AANA Doctoral Education Task Force, and 5 years service as on-site reviewer (currently a Chair Reviewer) for the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. He has published and spoken extensively on the anesthesia gas machine, electrical safety, and other topics. He also maintains active clinical practice. He is a doctoral student in Instructional Technology in the College of Education, Wayne State University.

Petra D. Hurt CRNA MS, Assistant Director and Affiliate Clinical Coordinator

Petra is senior Assistant Director and backup to the director. She is responsible for admissions, the first year clinical curriculum, the Basic Principles of Anesthesia course, the student schedule, and rotation schedule. She serves her profession as a team reviewer for the Council on Accreditation.

Greg Bozimowski CRNA MS, Assistant Professor

Greg teaches Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, and Professional Aspects, as well as assisting with clinical evaluation. He chairs the Publication Committee of the Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and edits their quarterly newsletter The Connector.

Andrea Teitel CRNA MS, Affiliate Clinical Coordinator

Andrea Teitel CRNA MS teaches the Advanced Principles of Anesthesia, and the Regional Anesthesia courses. She has worked with the Public Relations Committee of MANA.
