Michael P. Dosch, CRNA, Ph.D.
Associate Professor and Chair, Nurse Anesthesia
Dr. Dosch has directed the program since 1991. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science from Mercy College of Detroit, and a Ph.D. from Wayne State University. His teaching/research interests include: Anesthesia Gas Machine, Applied Physics, Research Methods, Statistics, Attrition, and computer-based testing. He is active in service to his profession including: Editorial Committee and peer reviewer for the AANA Journal, a member of the Certification Examination Committee of the National Board for Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), and many years service as an on-site reviewer (currently a Chair Reviewer) for the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. He has published and spoken extensively on the anesthesia gas machine, electrical safety, and other topics. He also maintains an active clinical practice.

Petra D. Hurt, CRNA, M.S., Assistant Program Director and Affiliate Clinical Coordinator
Petra is senior assistant director and backup to the director. She is responsible for admissions, the first-year clinical curriculum, the Basic Principles of Anesthesia course, the student schedule, and rotation schedule. She serves her profession as a team reviewer for the Council on Accreditation, and serves on committees for NBCRNA.
Greg Bozimowski, CRNA DNP, Assistant Professor
Dr. Bozimowski teaches Pharmacology, Pathophysiology and Professional Aspects, and shares responsibility for clinical evaluation. He holds a Doctor of Nurse Practice degree from University of Detroit Mercy and a M.S. in Anesthesia from Mercy College of Detroit. His areas of research, presentations and publications have focused on pain management and student wellness. He serves as chair of the Wellness Committee and the Publication Committee of the Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists, edits their quarterly newsletter The Connector, and is president-elect of MANA.
Andrea Teitel, CRNA, M.S. teaches the Advanced Principles of Anesthesia, and the Regional Anesthesia courses. She is past-president of MANA.
